Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to find the right protection for their car on this website, choose its options and order it. This page explains how accessible the site is, what we have checked, what we know still needs work, and how to get help.
Our aim
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet reached it on every page, and the site has not had an independent accessibility audit.
What we checked
During the redesign of the car finder, product pages, product options, basket and the site header and footer in October 2026, we checked:
- Keyboard: finding your car, choosing a product and its options, and reaching the basket can be done with a keyboard alone, and the item in focus is outlined.
- Screen readers (basic checks): page headings, labels on form fields and choices, the step you are on, messages when your products load, and pop-up windows that keep focus until they are closed.
- Phones and computers: screens from 375 pixels wide (a small phone) up to 2,560 pixels wide, in Chrome and Safari on a Mac, and in Safari's engine as used on iPhone.
- Touch: buttons and links in the product steps are at least 44 pixels high on phones.
Known limitations
- Older information pages, news articles and fitting guides have not been fully checked. Some images may not have a useful text description.
- Product videos are hosted on YouTube. Their captions may be automatic and inaccurate.
- Some parts of the site come from other companies, such as the reviews widget, live chat, the cookie banner and payment pages. We cannot fully control how accessible they are.
- We have not tested with every screen reader, magnifier or voice-control program.
