The customer is responsible for correct and appropriate product selection even if the products are intended as a gift. Advice and help are available, however it is the customers responsibility to select the correct vehicle make, model and floor position at time of order.

Christmas 2023 delivery information

Last Day for Guaranteed Christmas delivery for VersaLiners, ProMax Kits, Load Liners and Carbo Guards – 1st December 2023.

Last Day for Guaranteed Christmas delivery for single orders of Mats and/or Bumper Guards – 17th December 2023 (10th December 2023 for International orders).

Returns Policy period extended until 15th January 2024 for all Christmas orders placed.

We are closed Friday 22nd December 2023 and reopen Tuesday 2nd January 2024.

If you are wanting to return any products – please do not send these during the period we are closed as the parcel will probably end up being returned to you and you will have to pay to resend it. Please wait until we reopen on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 before returning any products.

Please note that any orders placed when we are closed will be processed once we reopen. The estimated delivery time will start from Tuesday 2nd January 2024 and not the date the order is placed. Any voice messages and emails will be answered once we are back in the office.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers who have ordered this year along with the many returning customers, and we look forward to welcoming many new customers in the new year.

Payment

Payments can be made 1) via our website, using a Credit/Debit card or PayPal. 2) by phoning the office on 01299 822230 and paying via Credit/Debit Card 3) if you come to our premises you can pay by Credit/Debit Card or cash. Payment is taken at the time of order. We do accept American Express over the phone.

Discount codes

Discount codes may be available during sale periods. Discount codes can only be applied whilst the sale is live and cannot be applied outside of the sale period. These codes will generally only apply to Mainland UK orders unless otherwise stated. Terms and conditions apply for these sales and Boot Buddy Ltd reserve the right to decide these.

 

Delivery & Delivery Costs

Delivery will take place once payment has been processed and the goods have been made. Delivery will be via a courier company, usually Parcelforce for the majority of orders. In most cases delivery is about 10-15 working days after your order is placed. Delivery overseas is usually between 15-20 working days. If delivery is longer than this we will put a note on our Latest News page detailing the delivery times.

Cancellations and Refunds - Consumer's Rights

Under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order. This cancellation period begins when you place your order and ends 14 days after you receive your goods. If you decide to cancel your order within this time period you are entitled to a full refund of the money you paid, including the cost of delivery but notice of cancellations must be done in writing via post or email to Boot Buddy Ltd. Goods must be unused and in original condition. If you cancel your order you must return the goods to us. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. Please ensure you retain proof of postage.

Any goods received with protective film must have this still intact for a full refund. Removal of this protective film automatically incurs a 50% reduction of the full refund amount per product. Please ensure you check the fitting of the products before you remove the plastic film. This would include checking the boot closes with the products fitted.

Returned goods must be returned with the original packaging and securely wrapped. Failure to adhere to these packaging requirements could invalidate any subsequent claim for loss or damage. Goods must be returned within 2 weeks of cancelling/or requesting to return the order.

The above will apply to your order unless it has been personalised to your own specification. We will only make a full refund for cancellation of a personalised order due to manufacture or design fault.

All orders placed online are the responsibility of the customer. Boot Buddy Ltd will not be held responsible for incorrect or inappropriate products ordered or incorrect vehicle selection. If you are unsure of your car details at the point of order, please contact us prior to ordering.

In the case of personalised goods, please inspect the goods on delivery and inform us immediately of any suspected fault or discrepancy. We will be happy to discuss any suspected fault or error on our part and if agreed we shall provide you with your choice of full refund, agreed alterations or replacement. Boot Buddy Ltd reserves the right to determine what classes as a manufacture or design fault.

Incorrect or Faulty Products

If you wish to cancel your order and request a refund because you believe there to be a fitting or manufacturing fault you must do so in writing or via email.  In this instance please tell us the reasons why you are cancelling the order and requesting a refund.  Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a refund for faulty products.

If you believe there is an issue with the fitting of the products please provide these details along with some photographs. We request:

1) a photograph of your item fitted
2) a photograph of your boot without any item fitted
3) a photograph showing the fitting issue
4) if the product is a VersaLiner please send a photograph of the base and sides of the VersaLiner in your boot without the back panel.

After assessing the information we will then contact you to discuss the matter. Where items are faulty or there has been an error on the part of Boot Buddy Ltd, we will pay the cost of returning the goods. This may be us arranging collection of the goods or you paying to send goods back and we reimbursing you. Where possible, we will also offer a replacement product with the fault corrected as an alternative to a refund. Boot Buddy Ltd reserve the right to determine what classes as a faulty item.

Measure and Fit Service

If you purchase products from us at our premises and you are not happy with your purchase, as long as the goods are in the original condition with the plastic film still intact and the order was made to standard dimensions, we are happy to provide a refund. If you had items made to fit your specifications (not our standard dimensions) then we will only provide a refund, alterations or replacement if the items are faulty. Boot Buddy Ltd reserve the right to determine what classes as faulty. The Measure and Fit service is usually free of charge and you will simply pay for the items you require. In some cases, there will be an additional fee when modifications are requested or required. This fee will be based on the complexity and length of time needed to apply the modifications.

International Orders

Although products from Boot Buddy Ltd can be shipped worldwide, please be aware that all our products are manufactured using measurements taken from UK specification vehicles.  International versions of a vehicle may differ from the UK version of the same vehicle and we are unable to guarantee the fit of our products in vehicles sold outside of the UK market.  International orders, although welcomed, are therefore placed at your own risk.

All orders are subject to availability. Boot Buddy Ltd reserve the right to refuse to supply any individual or company.

Guarantees

All our products are guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for 12 months. This does not include excessive wear and tear. Boot Buddy Ltd reserve the right to determine what qualifies as "excessive".

If your Boot Buddy arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong size somehow, contact us immediately so that we can resolve the problem. We will replace the goods at no cost to you.

Statutory Rights

These Terms and Conditions do not affect any of your statutory rights.
